The project team met in Leiden on the 12th of December 2016 to discuss their research, potential publication collaboration and the scheduling of future events. Project members were also able to attend sessions of the Ocean of Law II conference organised by Mahmood Kooria (among others), who successfully defended his PhD thesis on the 14th.
